PHILIPPINE AIRLINES AND ALASKA AIRLINES LAUNCH FREQUENT FLYER PARTNERSHIP

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has announced a new frequent flyer partnership with Alaska Airlines, aimed at enhancing travel options and rewards for loyal passengers of both carriers. The partnership will enable members of PAL’s Mabuhay Miles and Alaska’s Mileage Plan programs to earn and redeem miles across each airline’s network, expanding flexibility and travel benefits.

Once the agreement takes effect in the coming months, PAL customers will be able to earn miles on eligible Alaska Airlines flights, while Alaska Airlines passengers can do the same on PAL-operated routes, including transpacific services to and from the Philippines.

This new collaboration builds stronger links between the U.S. and the Philippines, with PAL offering nonstop services from Manila to key gateways including Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York JFK, and Honolulu. Alaska Airlines’ extensive domestic network will allow PAL customers greater access to numerous U.S. cities beyond the West Coast.

Both airlines are also exploring reciprocal codeshare agreements to further streamline travel between the two networks. This development complements PAL’s existing partnership with Hawaiian Airlines, offering even more ways for Mileage Plan members to earn and redeem miles on PAL flights to destinations throughout the Philippines and beyond.

As the Philippines’ sole full-service air carrier, PAL is keen to build on special partnerships as a key element of its strategy to strengthen the airline’s presence in the U.S. market and provide more seamless travel experiences for its passengers.

Philippine Airlines has the largest network of nonstop flights between the Philippines and multiple destinations in the United States, including New York JFK, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, and Honolulu.
