Santa Cruz de Tenerife, August 2025 – The Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, in collaboration with the City Council of Santa Cruz and the Sociedad de Desarrollo, announces the launch of the new sightseeing bus service that will tour the city, enhancing connectivity between the port and Santa Cruz’s main points of interest.
The service will officially begin on August 12, 2025, and will be operated by City Sightseeing Worldwide, a global leader in urban sightseeing transport. The buses will feature routes designed to offer a comfortable, sustainable, and attractive experience for both visitors and residents.
To introduce the service and encourage local engagement, a special campaign has been designed for residents, associations, and community groups.
- Free service dates for Tenerife residents: August 12, 13, 14, 17, 23, 24, 30, and 31, 2025.
- Tenerife residents will be able to obtain free tickets for these dates directly through the official City Sightseeing website: www.city-sightseeing.com.
This project addresses a key need in the cruise sector: improving the passenger experience from the very first step ashore. In addition, it:
